Johnson Creek Side Channel Restoration Project
Project Summary
The Johnson Creek Side Channel Reconnection project increased connectivity of two existing side channels (one side channel and one high flow side channel,) and a floodplain swale. Construction activities included side channel excavation and enhancement, side channel tributary alcove excavation, bank buried large wood structures, floodplain roughness large wood structures, habitat large wood structures and man-made feature removal.
